Why we use it

We use information to provide the membership, process and reconcile access, deliver service communications, maintain security, improve the academy and, where you have opted in, send educational or launch marketing.

Service providers

Lion Academy uses specialist providers for hosting, databases, membership delivery, checkout and communications. Those providers process information only for the services they supply and under their own applicable privacy and security obligations.

Marketing

Marketing consent is separate from purchasing the membership. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time without losing transactional or service messages that are necessary to operate your membership.

Retention and rights

Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, legal obligations, dispute resolution and security. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing of your personal information.

Security

We use access controls and purpose-built service providers to reduce unnecessary exposure of customer information. Payment-card details are handled by the checkout/payment provider rather than stored directly by Lion Academy.
